Playstation Portable
September 30th, 2008

The Sony PSP gets to see much more action in the real world than most PlayStation devices. If things get rough in the field and your PSP gets wounded in action, Sony’s limited 90-day warranty on defects in materials and workmanship likely won’t be of much help.

Console Repair Shop recommends that potential customers check with Sony to determine the warranty status of any broken console since they will repair the unit free of charge when covered under warranty. But generally, used PSPs are out-of-warranty since the warranty period and terms are so narrow.

If your PlayStation Portable is broken and out-of-warranty, get a repair quote from Console Repair Shop and find out about our competitive repair rates before paying Sony to do the same.
